Our first Bootstrapped Millionaire is Magnus Walker, a serial entrepreneur, fashion designer, motivational speaker, and one of the world’s most prolific Porsche collectors. Magnus talks about how he built a fashion empire after selling secondhand clothes on the Venice Boardwalk and how he stumbled into the lucrative film location business.
About Magnus Walker:
Magnus is a British former fashion designer and car collector. He accidentally fell into the fashion business and eventually established a clothing brand called ‘Serious’. Having been fascinated with Porsche since childhood, he started collecting and customizing vintage Porsches. After the documentary Urban Outlaw about his life and fascination with Porsche, he became one of the world’s most visible faces of the Porsche and car collecting scene. Along with his company’s booming success, he bought a run-down factory building in the Arts District in L.A. that served as a location for his creative explorations. Eventually, the building became a hotspot for filming locations and launched another successful business venture. In addition to the clothing brand and Porsche ownership, he published a book called “Urban Outlaw: Dirt Don’t Slow You Down.”
