This week, Jonathon is joined by Kuntha Chelvanathan. Kuntha is a Supply Chain and Procurement Transformations Leader at IBM Consulting in Singapore. Her vast experience includes advising on procurement and supply chain operational strategies, transformation programs, and implementations across businesses worldwide. In part one, Kuntha shares what drew her to supply chain operations, and what IBM learned from speaking with 2,000 supply chain executives.

She has assisted companies in end-to-end design and development of the procurement operating model — covering strategic, organizational, governance, process, technological and shared service elements — to develop capabilities, achieve sustainable cost savings and build resilience.
Kuntha is also experienced in strategic sourcing, corporate shared services reviews and governance development to realize cost savings for the public sector.
She holds an MBA from the University of Oxford; a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sydney, Australia; and a World-class Purchasing certificate from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, UK.
