It is common knowledge that people’s shopping habits have drastically evolved in the past 10 years, especially during the pandemic. But how is retail evolving to meet its consumer’s ever-changing needs? Instead of traditional E-coms, their shopping experience might start on TikTok, or an online marketplace, but in the near future, that might also include the Metaverse. Gerry discusses all of that with Rob Garf, the VP and GM of Retail at Salesforce, where he leads Industry Strategy, Product, and Insights. Gerry and Rob also talk about the shopping mall of the future, how companies can provide a seamless experience across physical and digital, and what it means to ‘shop at the edge’.
