This week we’re joined by celebrity stylist Michael Dueñas. He tells Joe how he’s helping his friends in the beauty industry with the Support Creatives initiative. While the inception of Support Creatives comes in response to the COVID-19 crisis, it will not just be a quick fix. Support Creatives will be filling a gap to bring the community together now and forever.

Michael has been doing hair for 20 years, and has been freelance for 12 of those. He understands the struggles it takes to succeed in the industry, and the hardships that have to be overcome along the way. Michael’s clientele includes such celebrities as Rachel Brosnahan, Padma Lakshmi, Morena Baccarin, Noah Cyrus, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and he has had the ability to work alongside Orlando Pita on shows for Michael Kors, Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, and Victoria’s Secret. Michael has also keyed shows for Alice and Olivia, Betsey Johnson, Trina Turk, Nicole Miller, Charlotte Ronson and many others. He has had the pleasure of shooting for editorials including Elle, Allure, Jalouse, FLAUNT, C Magazine and Nylon and works with advertising clients including GUESS, Aeropostale, L’Oreal, Dannon, and Dermalogica.
