Steve concludes his conversation with Tyler Duvelius, the Executive Director of the Ohio Conservative Energy Forum. Steve and Tyler discuss how his organization depoliticizes the preconceived notions among Republicans about Climate Change.
About Tyler Duvelius:
Tyler has a wealth of political campaign and public policy experience. Tyler has managed and worked on Ohio political campaigns at the local, state, and federal levels. He also carries experience in community and economic development. Tyler was the 2015 and 2017 recipient of the “Outstanding Male Ohio Young Republican of the Year” Award and has been recognized for his campaign work during the 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2016 election cycles. Tyler was included in the 2017 cohort of Midwest Energy News “40 Under 40”. In his previous role as State Director of the Ohio Christian Coalition, Tyler had the opportunity to provide critical education and political training to the Christian, pro-family community throughout Ohio.
Tyler has served as the Executive Director of the Ohio Conservative Energy Forum since 2018. The Ohio Conservative Energy Forum (OHCEF) is a movement of conservatives who recognize clean energy as a solution to sustaining energy dominance, driving economic growth, and providing power build and sustain the American way of life. OHCEF educates community stakeholders and grassroots activists on the importance of a diversified, all-of-the-above energy portfolio.
Outside of his job, Tyler serves on the Leadership Council for Ohio Conservatives for Juvenile Justice Reform. Additionally, he has served on the board of the Ohio Young Republicans as Treasurer and the Young Republican National Federation as Midwestern Regional Vice-Chairman. Tyler is a member of the EveryMan team, an initiative of the Community Shelter Board that provides safe, temporary housing for the homeless while helping transition them to permanent jobs and housing. He is also a frequent Pelotonia participant, where he works to raise money and awareness for cancer research.
Tyler is a graduate of The Ohio State University and lives in Columbus, Ohio. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes in addition to professional sports teams in Cincinnati and Columbus.
