About Michal Morrison: Michal is an Austin-based entrepreneur and Founder of Michal Morrison, Inc., a skincare company rooted in a regenerative science technology poised to revolutionize the beauty industry. As a survivor of a Traumatic Brain Injury in 2016, Michal Ann has become a passionate advocate for women with disabilities.
Michal experienced years of frustration trying countless skincare products from clinical brands, pharmacy aisles, and luxury brands that never delivered on their promised results. She decided to combine her passion for science and her entrepreneurial spirit to start her own skincare company with a singular purpose: to revolutionize the beauty industry by developing performance-driven skincare with proprietary technology that delivers proven results based on the most recent advances in science.
Michal met with industry experts and scientists to learn about recent advancements in stem cell research and skin longevity. This pursuit eventually led her to the laboratory of Dr. Fuqiang Ruan. A preeminent scientist with a doctorate in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Dr. Ruan had previously worked in the laboratory of Dr. Michael Kahn, where decades of research in biochemistry, stem cell science and regenerative medicine served as his inspiration for the development of the company’s proprietary and patent-pending intellectual property – the β-STEM6 molecule.
Her namesake company, Michal Morrison, Inc., is backed by this incomparable, patent-pending intellectual property that works like a “molecular key” to unlock the dormant potential that exists within skin to help repair damage, support cellular regeneration and ultimately skin longevity. Her greatest inspiration and driving force behind her company is her mother, who often struggled with skin cancer and reminded Michal from a young age to take care of her skin and practice good sun protection.
Michal is excited to lead a new category of skincare with its proven βSTEM6 technology, but also to build a company focused on the health of our communities. She firmly believes that businesses have a role to play in the fight for social change. Michal is therefore committed to building a sustainably minded company that prioritizes diversity and inclusion while serving as a vehicle to promote positive social change and give back to the community.
A seventh-generation Texan, Michal was raised in a family that emphasized the importance of academics and civic engagement. Following her graduate work, Michal went on to pursue archeological research projects across the globe, including Greece, Italy, United Arab Emirates, as well as the United States. Michal will incorporate these ancillary interests into the growth of her company with the goal of positively impacting the future of environmentalism, and science and health advocacy.
