For seven seasons, Kerry Washington starred as Olivia Pope on the hit TV series Scandal, but what’s it like to handle crisis management for real? In 2022. This week, Joe welcomes Stephanie Craig, one of the country’s top crisis and reputation strategists. She’s currently the Vice President of Consulting at Kith, where she helps clients expertly prepare for crises, mitigate risk and rebuild reputations.
About Stephanie Craig: Stephanie is one of the country’s top crisis and reputation strategists. She has served as a trusted advisor to former First Ladies, Senators, Members of Congress and C-suite officers. She uses her two decades of experience to lead the consulting practice of Kith, a crisis management company, and help clients expertly prepare for crises, mitigate risk and rebuild reputations.
Prior to joining Kith, Stephanie founded the Apeiron Strategy Group where she increased revenue by 400 percent over three years. She used that platform to serve clients but also to chair the Force to End Harassment in Advocacy, which resulted in landmark legislation, and help establish I Am ALS, which will end ALS in our lifetime.
Before becoming a CEO, Stephanie worked in the media and political world serving in the U.S. House and Senate and the Canadian House and Senate, likely the only person to do so. She holds a master’s degree from George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Dakota.
