His diverse career has spanned leadership roles at ABC, Warner Bros. TV, CBS, and Discovery Networks, where he made waves through his creative vision and business acumen. Billy is also a survivor of the Miracle on the Hudson. Having narrowly escaped tragedy over a decade ago, Billy gained a renewed appreciation for living life to the fullest and following his passions. From a small-town athlete to a global media force, Billy Campbell embodies the resilience, adaptability, and drive required to achieve multidimensional success. About Billy Campbell: Growing up in Greenville, SC, Billy excelled in football, basketball, and baseball at Christ Church Episcopal School before attending Harvard College, where he graduated in 1982. He was awarded a Rotary International Scholarship and studied at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1985 before completing his education at Harvard Business School in 1987. Billy began his career at ABC Television in Los Angeles and quickly rose to prominence, eventually running drama development for Warner Bros. TV and CBS TV. He was the president of Miramax TV and Discovery Networks in Washington, DC, where he made a significant impact on the industry. Today, Billy is a consultant for Virtuoso Travel, spearheading the opening of Saudi Arabia for tourism and travel. He is also advising South Florida PBS channels on their new health network and is a partner on a new television network called Growing Bolder, focused on programming for viewers over 50. With a deep commitment to environmental conservation, Billy is a board member for the Galapagos Conservancy. His life is a testament to the power of hard work, adaptability, and pursuing one’s passions to achieve success in all aspects of life.
